With his third untitled album almost complete, Ky-mani is definitely a star for himself. Ky-mani was born of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) as well as Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). He was born on the 26th of February 1977 in Falmouth. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". Being a man who lives up to his title, each album and travel is an journey of a lifetime. The Journey, his musical journey began in 1999. His wide-ranging perspective allowed Ky-Mani to seek out his own niche, and to explore the many talents he has. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae record was made available, showing a more mature Ky-mani. The Journey and Many More Roads were well received worldwide, thus solidifying Ky-mani as an individual "artist". Ky-Mani is renowned for his unique blend that combines hip-hop with R&B and a hint of modern jazz.
